Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) has published its latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating results, with GoodWe receiving a status upgrade from BB to BBB, testimony to the company’s ongoing commitment to ESG practices and its strategic vision and foresight regarding sustainability.

As a world-leading smart energy solution provider, GoodWe not only provides quality products and services that enable its customers to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, but also ensures that its products follow eco-friendly and green processes, the company having adopted green building concepts at its various facilities through solar carports and versatile BIPV materials that are integrated with its solar-storage-charging system.

In 2022, GoodWe released its inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. Developed in collaboration with EY, the report chronicled the various practices the company had undertaken to achieve sustainable development. In the same year, it was awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis, in recognition of its continued commitment to improving sustainability across its global business operations.

“We are really delighted to receive this triple B assessment from MSCI, which justifies our confidence and motivates us to further improve our ESG-related practices and continue to focus on sustainable development strategies,” commented company CEO and founder Daniel Huang. “Going forward, we will maintain our commitment to harnessing smart tech to drive the global energy transition.”
