Huasun chairman Jimmy Xu has commented that the current goal for the PV industry is not merely to achieve grid parity, but to become a mainstream energy source. He emphasized that only HJT and heterojunction-perovskite stacked technologies have the potential to realize this ambition, with the technology standing out due to its shorter process, thinner wafers, higher power generation, lower carbon footprint and minimal indium usage compared with other PV products.
Over the past three years Huasun has been successful in achieving the initial aim of efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
