Hosted under the umbrella of Middle East Energy, Intersolar and ees Middle East have provided a vital platform for networking, knowledge exchange and showcasing of the latest technologies driving the Middle East’s energy transformation. Organisers of the 49th edition of the event have revealed record numbers following last month’s three-day run at the Dubai World Trade Centre, surpassing the previous attendance record of 23,754. This year’s event – held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure– attracted 36,438 energy industry professionals from around the world, with more than 500 key buyers among them. Clocking more than 70,000 individual visits across the three days, attendees came from some 158 countries, reinforcing the show as a cornerstone of innovation and collaboration in the energy industry.
Boasting the largest footprint in the show’s history with 16 bustling halls and 18 international pavilions, this year’s edition brought together more than 1,600 exhibitors from 90-plus countries. Exhibitors showcased products and services from across the full energy value chain: Power generation and storage to renewables and smart grid technologies. The exhibition space and the number of exhibiting companies at Intersolar and ees Middle East 2025 have increased significantly compared to the last event in 2023, quadrupling to more than 70 international companies presenting their innovative products.
“The Middle East is at a tipping point in its clean energy journey,” commented Dr. Florian Wessendorf, Managing Director at Solar Promotion International. “This year’s Intersolar and ees Middle East showcased the powerful momentum behind solar and storage adoption and highlighted how collaboration across sectors is driving meaningful progress.”
With ambitious targets set by governments across the region – including the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 strategy – Intersolar and ees Middle East served as a launchpad for future partnerships and projects that will define the region’s energy landscape.
“Building on this year’s success, Intersolar and ees Middle East 2026 will feature a larger exhibition area, showcasing latest advancements in photovoltaics, energy storage systems, and green hydrogen technologies’, added Barbara Niemeier, Head of The smarter E global Messe Freiburg Management and Marketing International.
