Jinchen has announced the signing of a 10GW contract with major Indian module manufacturer Waaree for the supply of an automated high-efficiency production line.
The two companies began cooperation in 2017 and this latest agreement, marking Jinchen’s largest overseas deal to date, takes the relationship to a new level, while moving Waaree a step closer to achieving a manufacturing capacity of 20GW.
As one of the first PV module equipment suppliers to enter the Indian market nearly 20 years ago, Jinchen has become a well-established player in recent years, launching a local technical service centre in 2022.
