JinkoSolar has announced an order from Guangdong Energy Group for 200MW of its n-type Tiger Neo bifacial modules.
Since launching last November, Tiger Neo already has an order backlog of more than 3GW for utility-scale, C&I and residential solar projects.
“With the recent surge in the cost of polysilicon and logistics, we are now seeing booming market demand for PV modules combining high efficiency and lower cost per watt, together with an increased acceptance of n-type bifacial technology,” commented JinkoSolar VP Dany Qian. “We have one of the most advanced n-type cell technologies and high-throughput tools to capitalize on this growing demand, and our n-type bifacial cell technology presents the best roadmap to higher efficiency and higher generation capacity (kWh per kW).
As reported recently, JinkoSolar has now supplied over 100GW of mono-crystalline modules globally.
