Management from Softcontrol, a technical Danish distributor in the residential and commercial sector, have visited the KSTAR factory and met with representatives of its joint venture with CATL on a visit to China.
During the visit, Softcontrol CEO Kim Jespersen took the opportunity to inspect KSTAR’s inverter and all-in-one energy storage production lines where CATL batteries are produced, amid optimism that a partnership may be agreed in the future.
“The Nordic region is set to become a European powerhouse for renewables, with Denmark expected to lead developments. The country will add 9GW of PV by 2030, followed by Sweden with 3GW,” explained Jespersen.
“Thanks to the visit to KSTAR and the CATL-KSTAR joint venture, I believe a partnership between Softcontrol and KSTAR will be mutually beneficial. We look forward to working together in the future to deliver innovative and sustainable energy solutions to customers in Denmark and beyond,” he added.
