SEG Solar has announced that it has received Class 1 fire certification for the Italian market for several of its modules, including the YUKON series transparent backsheet range.
The UNI9177 fire certification standard in Italy comprehensively considers all relevant factors, including surface resistance to single-sided flame combustion (UNI8457) and the module’s behaviour under radiation hot spots (UNI9174).
The Italian Cabinet Fire Department maintains higher standards than other countries, making its certification arguably the most demanding in Europe.
