Sungrow has unveiled its new SG5.0RS-L residential single phase PV inverter at the 2023 edition of Renewable Energy India. The product combines powerful performance with an ultra-light weight design, its lightweight cover increasing corrosion resistance and making installation easier.
In a compact design, the single string input current can reach 16A, compatible with high-power modules. The inverter is also equipped with PowerMax global MPPT scanning and PID Zero functions, maintaining maximum performance of modules even during periods of shadow.
Resistant to corrosion, water and dust and with lightning protection and built-in Type II DC/AC SPD, the SG5.0RS-L can operate in harsh environments such as rain, sandstorm and thunder, while also being suitable for use in coastal areas.
For O&M, it features smart IV curve scan and diagnosis to accurately locate faulty strings and, by using Sungrow’s iSolarCloud, personnel can help users remotely with real-time updates and partial troubleshooting.
