Suntech high-efficiency PV modules have been deployed at a rooftop solar project at a commercial complex in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, with the project now connected to the grid following the completion of system commissioning.
The project is built on a commercial complex owned by the property management company of the Top Glove Corporation, the world’s largest medical glove manufacturer, and integrates premium hospitality, office facilities and diverse commercial services, serving as a comprehensive urban business hub.
Jointly developed by Suntech and its exclusive Malaysian distributor NexGen AI Capitals, the project makes full use of existing rooftop resources without requiring additional land. Through optimized PV system design, it integrates renewable energy generation with urban infrastructure, unlocking greater clean energy potential for commercial buildings.
The project is expected to generate approximately 608,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, with average monthly generation reaching around 50,700 kWh. The green electricity generated will primarily support the complex’s hotel operations, office facilities and commercial services, reducing reliance on grid electricity and improving overall energy efficiency.
Designed to perform reliably under Southeast Asia’s hot, humid and high-irradiance conditions, Suntech’s high-efficiency modules have obtained multiple internationally recognized certifications, including IEC 61215, IEC 61730, CE, TÜV and ISO. Featuring high reliability, low degradation and strong energy yield performance, the modules ensure stable and efficient operation throughout the project lifecycle.
