TCL Zhonghuan Energy Technology (Jiangsu) awarded EcoVadis silver medal

TCL Zhonghuan Energy Technology (Jiangsu), a core subsidiary of TCL Zhonghuan Renewable Energy Technology (‘TCL Zhonghuan’), has been awarded a silver medal ranking by sustainability ratings provider EcoVadis, the company standing out among a vast pool of participating companies worldwide to secure a place in the top 15% globally.

The recognition reflects the company’s strong performance across key areas including green development, employee rights protection, compliance and integrity and sustainable supply chain development.

Leveraging TCL Zhonghuan’s green manufacturing strategic layout, the company has established a systematic environmental management framework, implementing policies and measurable targets aligned with its parent organisation’s standards across critical areas including energy management, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, water resource utilization and waste management.

It has secured international certifications including ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) and several of its manufacturing sites have been recognized as “Green Factories” and “Zero-Waste Factories,” delivering tangible progress in emissions reduction and resource recycling.

Guided by TCL Zhonghuan’s “people-first” philosophy, the company has built a comprehensive employee rights protection framework covering occupational health and safety, career development, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, with strict prohibitions on child and forced labour.

The company has also formulated comprehensive business ethics and policies covering the core areas of anti-corruption, information security and conflict of interest management, obtaining ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) certification.

In line with TCL Zhonghuan’s vision of collaborative and sustainable industrial chains, it has additionally embedded sustainability principles throughout its supply chain management processes. This includes implementing strict conflict minerals policies, conducting regular supplier sustainability assessments and capability building, continuously advancing the implementation of supply chain transparency and responsible sourcing.
