With heterojunction (HJT) technology entering a new phase of development in line with a continuous expansion of production capacity, higher cell efficiency and reduced manufacturing costs, the latest edition of the international workshop on silicon heterojunction cells is taking place at a particularly important moment.
This year’s workshop, to be held in Xuancheng, Anhui Province from October 31st to November 1st, will be its sixth edition, jointly hosted by Huasun Energy and the Yangtze Institute for Solar Technology (YIST), the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIMIT) and Germany’s Forschungszentrum Jülich.
During the two-day seminar, leading solar industry figures, HJT experts and researchers from across the globe will share insights into the current status of and prospects for HJT technology. Participants will include Professor Martin Green of UNSW, Dr. Mikio Taguchi, pioneer in HJT technology, Dr. Xixiang Xu, world record holder for HJT efficiency from LONGi, Professor Stefaan De Wolf, world efficiency record holder for perovskite heterojunction solar cells and Dr. Guoqiang Xing, Tongwei CTO.
