Jolywood Solar’s first 182 and 210 solar cells have been produced at the company’s 16GW high efficiency smart factory in Shanxi province, in the presence of government officials and business representatives, opening a new chapter in the volume production of J-TOPCon 2.0 and the development of n-type solar technology.

The new factory covers a total area of 609 acres, at an investment of 5.6 billion yuan, and is equipped with AI robotics and fully automated equipment to enhance production efficiency and resource management.

Shanxi government expressed its congratulations at the event. “Jolywood producing new solar cells from its assembly line here is significant for the energy transformation of Shanxi Province. The government has given a lot of backing to this project, from contract to construction to ultimate output.”
