Trina Solar has showcased the solar industry’s new competitive edge at RE+ 2023 in Las Vegas. On display at the company’s booth were Vertex N and Vertex S+ modules with n-type i-TOPCon advanced technology, together with its suite of vertically integrated solutions, including TrinaTracker,TrinaStorage and TrinaHub.  The TrinaCell equipped ‘Elementa’ utility-scale battery system was of particular interest to visitors focusing on storage.

With its n-type i-TOPCon technology offering solutions for improved efficiency, long-term reliability and lower levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for solar developers, EPCs and installers, the company displayed its full portfolio of Vertex products, including Vertex S+ and Vertex N, for application scenarios such as residential and C&I rooftop and utility-scale power plants.

The Vertex N 700W module was electronically displayed at the Trina booth. Following the mass production of Vertex N 700W+ series modules in August, the company became the first manufacturer to mass produce TOPCon modules with power exceeding 700W.

Along with its industry-leading module technology, Trina Solar’s integrated smart energy solutions bring simplicity, innovation and effectiveness to solar project development, the combination of modules, trackers and energy storage ensuring integration, safety and reliability for customer systems.

The Trina Storage Elementa utility-scale battery system is modular and adopts the company’s self-developed Trinacell, with an ultra-long lifecycle of over 12,000. Trina Storage also launched its in-house EMS platform, engineered for maximized control, efficiency and sustainability. E²MS is a comprehensive software and hardware solution that seamlessly integrates with grid scale battery storage systems to facilitate efficient control, monitoring and optimization of energy flows.

Trina Storage is in the midst of rapid expansion with total ESS capacity to reach 12GWh by the end of 2023, increasing to 25GWh by the end of Q2 2024.

Trinahub was officially launched during the event –  a new one-stop partner portal that connects Trina with customers and industry stakeholders to provide an enhanced customer experience, improving channel relationships and developing a partner digital marketing ecosystem with online resources.
