TrinaTracker’s entities in Spain have received ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the world’s leading standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Awarded by OCA Global, the certification reinforces the company’s long-standing commitment to cybersecurity and data protection and its ongoing efforts to enhance resilience in an increasingly complex digital environment.
Trinasolar first achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2011, with this new milestone extending it to TrinaTracker’s Madrid and Viana sites, covering all key processes from design and development to supply and support of products and services in the PV industry.
Cybersecurity remains a cornerstone of Trinasolar’s ESG strategy, with the company continuously developing, implementing and enhancing its Information Security Management System, embedding information security into its long-term strategic planning and operations.
With new European Union regulations such as NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) further elevating cybersecurity standards across critical industries, ISO/IEC 27001 certification highlights Trina’s proactive and forward-looking approach, positioning the company to not only meet evolving compliance demands, but also to strengthen its competitive advantage in the global energy sector.
A company statement said: “This certification marks not a conclusion, but a continuing commitment to building stronger cyber resilience and reinforcing trust in Trinasolar’s technologies, products and services worldwide.”
