TW (Tongwei) Solar has officially announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent with BayWa r.e. for the future supply of modules for the latter’s solar projects business.
At the formal signing of the Letter of Intent, BayWa r.e. was represented by Tino Weiss, head of global purchasing, and Timo Galizia, head of purchasing for EMEA, with Qiu Xin and Li Yan, general manager and vice general manager for module sales, respectively, attending on behalf of Tongwei.
BayWa r.e. is a leading global developer, service supplier, distributor and solutions provider which has brought over 5.5GW of energy online and which manages over 10GW of assets. The company is also an Independent Power Producer with an expanding energy trading business.
Tongwei has established a stable and efficient sales channel since it entered the module market in 2022. Relying on the advantages of an integrated industry chain and R&D technology, it has already signed several global strategic cooperation agreements, with the new N-type module products showcased at Intersolar Europe in June demonstrating its latest achievements in TOPCon and HJT technology.
