Yingli Solar has exhibited at the 2023 edition of Intersolar Europe, showcasing its latest upgraded Panda 3.0 series modules.

The Yingli portfolio is suitable for all application scenarios, with the Ocean Star series for offshore applications, the Roof series for distributed PV and the bifacial double-glass series specially developed for utility-scale projects. Each was the subject of significant attention during the event.

The Ocean Star series modules for floating power plants and offshore applications are based on Panda 3.0 N-type TOPCon high-efficiency technology, independently developed by Yingli. The modules are supported by a full set of salt mist- and corrosion-resistant materials and matched with a flexible bracket design. The significant advantages of higher power density, excellent temperature coefficient, salt mist and load resistance make them perfectly suited for different types of offshore and marine PV applications.

The lightweight and pure-black Roof series modules for European commerical and residential applications were also popular with visitors to the company’s booth. They feature black glazed glass and a lightweight composite frame, which make them aesthetically pleasing while reducing roof load and facilitating installation. Outstanding performance in low-light conditions and backside power gain enable the modules to be productive for longer than conventional modules, resulting in an increase of up to 30% in power generation.

Vice President Cindy Hu commented:  “As one of our key global markets, Europe has high requirements in terms of module quality and reliability. With superior anti-corrosion and anti-aging properties, the Roof series modules are  particularly well suited to the needs of local household, industrial and commercial scenarios.”
