JA Solar raises shipment guidance

JA Solar has raised its shipment guidance for the fourth quarter and full-year 2012.

The company said that it expected fourth quarter shipments to be in the range of 480MW to 500MW, significantly exceeding its previous guidance of shipments being between 380MW and 420MW.

As a result, full-year 2012 shipments are expected to be in the range of 1.68GW to 1.70GW, compared to past guidance of 1.55GW to 1.65GW.

Shipments include solar wafers and solar modules. JA Solar is expected to release fourth quarter and full-year results on March 18, 2013.
