Nautilus Solar Energy commenced the construction of a new 1.9MW, roof-mounted PV project located on Antonio Avenue in Chino, California. The project is scheduled to begin commercial operation in May 2012 and the power generated will be sold to Southern California Edison under a 20-year purchase agreement.

“California is the largest solar market in the United States and we are excited to expand our portfolio in this very important market with the addition of the project at 15710 San Antonio Avenue in Chino,” says James Rice, CEO of Nautilus Solar. “Our goal is to continue to grow our footprint in California by developing and acquiring high quality projects to help the State meets its Renewable Portfolio Standard.”
