The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a notice of interest (NIT) under a tender for EPC services at a 100MWac solar PV project at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, in the southern state of Telangana.
The package includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing and commissioning under different packages including 10 years of O&M services provision.
The full tender documents will be made available on 22 April here.
Last August, SECI issued a tender for EPC services on 150MWac of solar at Singareni Collieries Company, which is a coal mining firm owned jointly by the state and central governments.
At the end of 2018, Telangana had the second highest capacity of large-scale solar commissioned in Indian states with 3,501MW, according to a Bridge to India report.
The PV IndiaTech 2020 conference will continue to bring together all key domestic and overseas stakeholders, including government bodies, investors, and the leading companies today from manufacturing to O&M and asset management. To thrive globally as a major PV power beyond 2020, India has to succeed in unlocking its potential both to manufacture and to lay claim to quality utility-scale solar farms that are providing high returns on investment to site owners.
