The deadline for bid submissions is 21 August this year. Last month, NTPC also issued a 15MW EPC tender for solar at the same location.
India is known to have multi-gigawatts of floating solar potential across ponds and reservoirs located at its thermal power plants. PV Tech also covered a 500kW pilot floating project in Kerala in detail last year.
