SolarWorld supplies National Solar Power’s 700MW Florida projects

National Solar Power has entered an agreement with solar manufacturer SolarWorld, in which SolarWorld will supply National Solar Power with several millions of solar panels for the company’s projects in Florida. The aim is to build projects totaling 700MW.

National Solar Power is constructing a 400MW project in Gadsden County, a 200MW project in Hardee County and a 100MW project in Liberty County, Florida. Each project will be built on sites of about 200 acres in size and in 20MW segments. The first project, Hardee County, will commence construction later this year.
