ACEN to build 1GW of floating solar in the Philippines

Energy platform ACEN has planned to develop 1GW of floating solar PV (FPV) in Laguna, in the northern Philippines.

Floating solar testbed to battle Filipino typhoons

The Philippines' first floating solar testbed to withstand typhoons is in a region that has on average 20 storms a year. It will also assess framed and frameless PV modules.
