EDP Renewables North America, Linea Energy and LRE have all advanced solar projects in the US Midwest this week.

Linea Energy has closed project debt financing for a 109MWdc utility-scale solar PV power plant in Wilcox County, Georgia, in the US.

The development-stage 490MW Duffy solar PV project near Houston, Texas has changed hands; nascent US independent power producer (IPP) Linea Energy has bought the project from London-based Horus Energy.
