Spanish power company Iberdrola and the sovereign fund of Norway will invest in 1.3GW of renewable capacity in Spain.

Spanish multinational electric utility company Iberdrola has partnered with Norges Bank Investment Management to invest in 1,265MW of new renewables capacity in Spain, with solar plants making up 80% of the portfolio.  

Norway’s sovereign wealth fund is eyeing potential investments in solar generation assets after making its first foray into renewables infrastructure.
