Poland has awarded 1.6GW of solar PV in this year’s renewable energy auction, according to the country’s Energy Regulatory Office.

Polish renewables developer PAD RES has secured PLN240 million (US$58.7 million) in financing for the construction of 117MW PV plants in Poland.

Polish renewables developer Pas Res will build two solar PV plants in northern Poland with a total capacity of 117MW.
