Shortlist Revealed for Next Week’s Cell Awards

The organisers of the International Solar Technology Awards today revealed the shortlist of nominees for the inaugural Cell Awards. The awards ceremony will be held next week at 5pm in Hall A3 at booth 658 at Intersolar Munich and will be attended by nominated companies, judges, and invited participants of Intersolar.

There will be a poster presentation of all the shortlisted nominees taking place at the PV Group Tech Arena in hall A3 for the duration of the Intersolar exhibition.

Best Region for Manufacturing Solar Technologies:

Best Technology for Si Feedstock and Wafer Processes:
·    Nominee: VINSPEC SP Inline process control for AR’s on PV wafers, Tec5

Best Process Technology for c-Si Cell Lines:
·    Nominee: Sunbox Silane-free coating system, Sixtron
·    Nominee: Ventura, Advent

Best Technical Product for Module Assembly:
·    Nominee: PV Cell Ribbon and Bus Bar Methodology, EFD

Best Technical Product for Thin-Film Module Manufacturing:
