In what would be one of the largest orders for amorphous-silicon thin-film PV modules to date, Anwell Technologies’ subsidiary Henan Sungen Solar Fab has received a deposit from an unnamed leading solar panel distributor/developer for a minimum of 180MW of amorphous-silicon thin-film PV modules to be delivered over the next three years. The deal would result in more than $300M in projected revenue on completion of the contract, according to Anwell. The first shipment is scheduled for delivery in October.

“We are delighted to receive this major sales order from our business partner,” said Franky Fan, executive chairman and CEO of Anwell. “The partnership developed through the agreement will enable Anwell to broaden its reach to other regions as well as further increase the business momentum of our solar division in the overseas market.”
