Canadian Solar raising US$100 million through share offering

Silicon Module Super League (SMSL) member and major PVEP (Photovoltaics Energy Provider) Canadian Solar is to raise US$100 million from the issue of common shares. 

The NASDAQ listed firm said the proceeds would be used for general corporate purposes, which could include solar power project development and working capital needs.
