Hawaiian electrical contractor Helix Electric has been supplied with 7.2MW of solar modules from ET Solar, the company has announced. The modules will be used to equip the Port Allen solar farm on the island of Kaua’i, Hawaii. The generated energy will be sold under a 20-year PPA to Kaua’i Island Utility.

Dennis She, president and CEO of ET Solar, commented: “We are very pleased with our business relationship with a strong industry participant like Helix Electric. We are also very proud that we are the key equipment supplier of the largest PV project in the region. The significant transaction size demonstrates the growing demand and strong interest for our high quality module products as we strengthen our footprint in the burgeoning Hawaiian PV market.”
