AIKO has announced the signing of multiple utility-scale agreements at the recent Intersolar Europe, with partners across Europe and beyond.

Among companies taking part in signing ceremonies were Greek renewable energy company Green Line Energy, with a 340MW agreement for AIKO’s high-efficiency BC modules, Cross Boundary Energy, for 225MW of Stellar series modules for the Kamoa project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Southeast Europe developer Versolvio, for 200MW of BC modules.

Green Line Energy CEO Maria Mitsiolidou commented: “We selected AIKO for its proven module performance and advanced BC technology, which aligns with our ambition to lead large-scale solar development in Southeast Europe. This project is a milestone not only for us, but for the broader industry adoption of back-contact innovation.”

Versolvio’s Marko Vukobratović added: “Versolvio is impressed by the high efficiency AIKO has brought to the market. The unique features of the BC modules deliver added value and tangible benefits to end clients, making them stand out from standard products. We are also inspired by AIKO’s relentless drive to push the boundaries of solar innovation—this spirit aligns closely with our vision for the future of energy infrastructure.”

A further agreement was signed with developer Wisely Energy, part of the DEVELO Group, for 50MW of AIKO modules, its CEO Joonas Lahti commenting: “We believe AIKO’s BC technology brings real added value in terms of long-term output and bankability. This agreement marks the beginning of a collaboration we are confident will grow further.”

“We’re delighted to see AIKO’s utility business expanding across multiple continents,” concluded the company’s VP for Overseas Utility Business Justin Yuan. “These agreements reflect growing market confidence in both BC technology and AIKO’s ability to deliver higher efficiency, lower LCOE and long-term reliability. Our focus remains on creating solutions that maximize system value for utility-scale partners around the world.”
