DAS Solar has achieved a significant new milestone, with its independently developed Diamond series back-contact (DBC) module delivering an output of 664.9W and a full-area conversion efficiency of 24.61%, verified by the CPVT. This accomplishment follows the company’s certified 27.77% DBC cell efficiency announced in September.
The DBC 3.0 Plus module stands as a core achievement under the company’s “One Core, Three Branches” technology strategy. Built on TOPCon 5.0 tunneling layer technology combined with a fully passivated selective-contact architecture, the module reaches 24.61% efficiency in the standard 2382 × 1134 mm full-area format without the use of hidden busbars, tiling and multi-segmentation. With additional optical and electrical optimization at the module level, along with high-density encapsulation, total module power is ultimately expected to exceed 680W.
“Achieving new records in both DBC cell and module efficiency is the result of DAS Solar’s long-term commitment to scientific innovation and continuous investment in core photovoltaic technologies,” commented CTO Dr. Dengyuan Song. “These results reinforce the strength of our R&D foundation and demonstrate the maturity, scalability and commercial potential of our DBC platform.”
