A 100 MW agrivoltaic integrated power project in Gaomi, in China’s Shandong Province, has been connected to the grid and has commenced power generation. The project, supported by Huasun Energy, combines solar power generation with modern agriculture and is expected to generate an annual 140 million kWh of electricity, while eliminating 100,000 tons of carbon emissions, delivering both environmental and economic benefits to the region.
The project was constructed in two phases, completed in October 2023 and October 2024 respectively, with Huasun serving as core module provider, supplying its high-performance G12 Himalaya HJT bifacial modules with a mass production power output of 730 W, efficiency of 23.5% and bifaciality of 95%. The modules feature advanced encapsulation and light-conversion film technologies, ensuring stable performance in harsh conditions while filtering harmful UV rays to enhance energy output.
