JinkoSolar has supplied its Tiger Neo TOPCon modules for a TMEIC rooftop solar installation at Japan’s Nagasaki Innovation Centre. The company, a Toshiba-Mitsubishi joint venture specializing in PCS, has deployed the high-efficiency panels on its own facility, underscoring its confidence in JinkoSolar’s technology, the collaboration aligning with Jinko’s sustained leadership in Japan, where it has ranked #1 in solar PV shipments for seven consecutive years. The success of its Tiger Neo modules has enabled the company to achieve a 26% share of Japan’s total PV market in 2024, with an even stronger position in the DG segment where rooftop projects like TMEIC’s are pivotal.
TOPCon has been widely proven to excel in terms of low light performance both theoretically and pragmatically in real world conditions. The arrival of the new Tiger Neo III has attracted significant enthusiasm from DG customers through the product’s exceptional enhancement in power to 650-670Wp, reinforcing its market dominance and potentially establishing its mainstream position for the next five years.
