JinkoSolar first PV module company to be listed in global and China editions of S&P sustainability yearbook

JinkoSolar has been recognized in the China edition of the S&P Global Sustainability yearbook for 2025, among over 1,600 Chinese companies evaluated. With the company’s previous listing in the global edition of the yearbook, it has become the first solar module manufacturer to be featured in both global and China editions, underlining its leadership in sustainability development worldwide.

JinkoSolar remains committed to the integration of sustainability into its daily operations and corporate strategy, supported by a robust ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management system. According to its most recent ESG report, as of the end of 2024 Jinko had built nine “zero-carbon”factories, reduced electricity consumption per unit of production by 9.07% and generated a total of 213.310 MWh of electricity from rooftop PV systems. Additionally, the company implemented 109 energy efficiency initiatives, saving an estimated total of 112,782.37 MWh of electricity.  

In 2024, JinkoSolar also received a BBB rating from MSCI ESG for the second consecutive year, with top-tier scores in key areas including clean technology and corporate governance, setting a benchmark for green progress in the sector.
