JinkoSolar’s 27% efficiency TOPCon cell is expected to enter mass production during Q3 this year, complementing the newly-released Tiger Neo 3.0 650-670Wp panels.
The new Tiger Neo 3.0, based on the third generation of TOPCon cell architecture with 26.7-27% efficiency, will enter mass production in June, targeting mid-to-high-end users, offering a more advanced option to the previous generation of Tiger Neo which has shipped over 180GW in the past two years and become the industry’s bestselling module product ever.
Jinko VP Dany Qian commented: “The Tiger Neo 3.0 series has many notable market advantages including, but not limited to, front side efficiency and power boost up to 650-670Wp, with module efficiency upgraded to over 24.3%-24.8% – 20-30 watt more power than the previous Tiger Neo 2.0 and other TOPCon offerings. Front side power and efficiency is on par with the most advanced XBC counterparts, while its bifaciality of 85% is 10-15% higher than XBC.”
