LONGi has been included in FORTUNE China’s 2025 ESG ‘impact list’, based on its outstanding practices in environmental, social and governance (ESG) domains. This is the third time that the company has been recognised since the list’s inception, underlining its global influence in sustainable development practices within the photovoltaic industry.
In 2024, LONGi achieved multiple sustainability goals ahead of schedule, seeing its MSCI ESG rating upgraded to BBB, earning the highest key issue scores among global semiconductor companies listed on A+H shares and topping the photovoltaic sector. The company also became the first in the PV industry to receive the “Industry Top Mover” distinction in S&P’s Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and was included in the organisation’s Sustainability yearbook (China Edition) for 2025.
Last year also saw the company make significant progress in decarbonization and resource efficiency: its annual green electricity usage ratio rose to 47.5%, equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by approximately 2.5467 million metric tons, with its Jiaxing production base becoming the PV industry’s first “Lighthouse + Zero-Carbon” factory.
