LONGi has announced it has supplied 499kW of Hi-MO 5m modules for a Toyota manufacturing plant in Mexico, via local companies CIGSA, CEBSA and SIES Bajío. The project, located in Apaseo el Grande in the state of Guanajuato, will deploy 918 modules and generate 800 MWh of energy while eliminating an annual 410 tons of CO2 emissions.

We congratulate Toyota on adopting renewable energy, as its reputation and relevance will influence more and more companies to join the green revolution,” commented Ivan Reyes, Director of Sales for Mexico and the Caribbean.
