LONGi, invited by Kazakhstan’s Minister for Energy, His Excellency Ilyas Bakytzhan, has organised a PV technology seminar in the country’s capital Astana, themed “Empowering Kazakhstan’s Sustainable Future”. The event brought together government officials, energy experts and industry representatives to engage in discussions on “PV+” technologies and jointly explore paths for low-carbon energy transformation.
This seminar was attended by Ilyas Bakytzhan, together with the technical team from the Ministry of Energy and representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
LONGi President for the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia region James Jin commented: “Kazakhstan has superior natural resources and a forward-looking energy policy framework, with huge potential for photovoltaic development. LONGi will continue to leverage its global technological advantages, deepen cooperation and assist the country in realizing its green energy vision.”
Bakytzhan recognised the value of the seminar, commenting: “The experience shared by LONGi provides us with useful references for policy formulation and implementation. The ‘photovoltaic +’ coordinated development model is encouraging, and we look forward to further cooperation between the two sides.”
