Jinko Power has announced that it has been awarded the Saad 300MWp solar PV project in a public auction by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy.

Sungrow has announced the signing of a 213MW contract with Ibitu Energia, a Brazilian company generating and selling 100% renewable energy. The agreement involves the supply of Sungrow’s 1500Vdc central inverter solution for the construction of a solar complex, Caldeirao Grande 2 Solar, in Piaui state.

JinkoSolar has announced it is to provide its high efficiency Tiger Neo modules for a 2.9MWp solar park at a ski resort in Japan’s Nagano prefecture. The plant, covering an area of 3 hectares (7.4 acres), is expected to generate an annual 389,000 kWh, enough to meet the energy needs of 600 local homes.

Located to the west of Doha over an area of 10 km2, the Al-Kharsaa project is the first solar power plant in Qatar, with a total planned power generation capacity of 800MW. The project will be equipped with LONGi Hi-MO 4 bifacial modules and a tracking system and will be the world’s largest PV project to combine these two elements.
