Sungrow has announced the 10th anniversary of its establishment in Japan in 2014.
Since its inception, Sungrow Japan has established itself as a key player in the country’s photovoltaic and energy storage industries, the company’s solutions meeting its stringent standards while optimizing operational efficiency, setting new benchmarks through continuous technological advancements.
In celebration of the 10 year milestone, the company held an anniversary event in Tokyo, under the theme of “Power of the Future”, bringing together partners, professionals and employees to highlight the company’s development strategy and discuss Japan’s renewable energy market in the future.
During the event, Sungrow detailed its high-efficiency PV solutions and energy storage system, focusing in particular on the SG5.5RS-JP product, designed for small to medium-sized commercial systems. Its modular design and ease of installation significantly reduce implementation costs, optimizing project returns on investment. PowerTitan 2.0, Sungrow’s flagship energy storage product, provides critical support in Japan’s increasingly volatile power landscape, with its exceptional safety and reliability addressing the growing need for adjustable loads and peak power cost reduction, while mitigating ongoing grid instability.
The company’s GM for the APAC region, Luis Xu, commented: “From entering the Japanese market to becoming a key player in the renewable energy sector, we have always been guided by one core objective: empowering the future and making sustainable energy accessible to all. Moving forward, Sungrow Japan will continue to advance in technology R&D and market expansion. We are committed to distributed PV and energy storage projects, delivering renewable energy beyond large-scale facilities and into every home and business.”
