Sungrow has announced that it has set a new record of 10GW of PV inverter shipments to India, up from the 7GW previously announced in January.

The company first entered the Indian market in 2014 and has since established a subsidiary with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, together with a manufacturing site. Its high quality products have gained wide acceptance in the Subcontinent, enabling several GW scale partnerships with major domestic players including TATA, Adani, Sterling and Wilson and Larsen and Toubro.

“The 10GW record is a hugely significant achievement for which I extend my sincerest gratitude to our customers and every Sungrow employee. We will continue to offer world-class products and services, and re-double our efforts to fulfill our mission of ‘Clean power for all’ in the future,” commented Sunil Badesra, head of Sungrow India.
