A 200MW PV power project in the city of Zhangye, in China’s Gansu province, is now operational, deploying Trina Solar 210mm Vertex 670W modules.
The project covers an area of some 5,700 mu (≈380 ha) and is expected to generate an annual 380 million kWh of green power, while eliminating 320,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
Trina’s Vertex 600W+ ultra-high power modules are particularly efficient in desert environments prone to sandstorms and large temperature variances, making them especially suitable for this project.
