Trinabot (Trinabot Science & Technology), a manufacturer of PV installation and cleaning robots under TrinaTracker, has announced that it has entered a landmark strategic partnership with Portugal’s ESI Robotics, a market-leading integrator of robotics and industrial automation systems. The alliance is set to forge a dynamic business ecosystem, driving the next wave of intelligent automation across global solar markets.

TrinaTracker is focusing on understanding the real challenges faced by solar plant developers, EPCs and asset owners. As of 2026, it has transitioned from a smart tracking solution provider into a company that helps clients simplify solar system construction and optimize their solar assets through reliable mounting structures, AI-driven software, engineering services and robotics. Installation robots are new products that aim to solve difficulties in challenging environments, increasing installation efficiencies and reducing project CAPEX in high-labour-cost markets.

The Trinabot Buildex series PV installation robot represents a multi-dimensional breakthrough in efficiency, adaptability, safety and intelligence. With an installation speed of up to 90 modules per hour, Buildex improves efficiency by 2 to 3 times compared with traditional methods, while enabling forklift-free compatibility for all packaging types during material loading. Engineered for complex terrains, it features an adjustable robotic arm base and platform levelling capabilities, making it perfectly adaptable to both fixed tilt and tracking systems, as well as 1P/2P configurations with high-precision execution on slopes.

The cooperation with ESI Robotics represents a significant step forward in the global expansion of the field of solar installation automation. Moving forward, both companies will use this partnership as a conduit to accelerate the adoption of automated construction methodologies, injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality, sustainable development of the global solar industry.

TrinaTracker president Álvaro García-Maltrás commented: “This strategic alliance with ESI Robotics marks a significant step for Trinabot’s global incursion strategy within the solar robotics domain. We look forward to scaling new heights and widening our cooperative scope, collectively driving the solar industry toward a highly automated and intelligent future.”

ESI Robotics executive board member Paulo Silva added: “ESI Robotics places immense value on our strategic partnership with Trinabot, recognizing its exceptional technical prowess and profound market potential in solar robotics. Moving forward, we will fully mobilize our localized resource advantages and integrated platforms across the industrial and energy sectors. By working in lockstep with Trinabot, we will deliver unmatched performance and superior user experiences, unlocking expansive market opportunities and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial growth.”
