Neo Solar Power’s sales slowly recover in September

The largest merchant solar cell producer, Neo Solar Power Corporation (NSP), reported a slight increase in sales for September, after three months of decline.

NSP reported sales of NT$1,964 million (US$64.7 million) in September, 2014, an increase of 4.96% form the previous quarter that ended a three month decline due to the US anti-dumping case.

Sales for the first nine months of 2014 were NT$ 20,551 million (US$677.2 million), up 57.4% from the same period a year ago. 

The company noted a restoration in demand and higher ASPs that would result in higher utilisation rates, without saying what the utilisation rates were.
