Vertically-integrated Chinese manufacturer JinkoSolar has signed a contract to supply 35MW of its modules to Payom Solar in 2011. The modules are to be used on a range of Payom’s roof-top and ground-mounted projects across the U.S.

JinkoSolar Holdings has signed an agreement with Innovalight granting JinkoSolar the right to purchase Innovalight’s silicon ink and license its processing technology for the manufacturing of solar cells. JinkoSolar is looking at this contract with Innovalight’s technology to yield efficiencies over 18.6% in its monocrystalline solar cells during the first half of 2011.

Adding to over 200MW of orders already announced this month, JinkoSolar has signed a follow-up supply agreement with Enfinity Asia Pacific for the supply of 100MW of photovoltaic modules throughout 2011. The companies had already signed an agreement earlier in 2010 for the delivery of 24MW.

JinkoSolar and Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland have signed a contract in which the Chinese PV manufacturer will supply the German company with 54MW of crystalline-silicon solar modules. The deal calls for Jinko to ship 4MW of panels to SGBDD this year, with the remaining 50MW to be supplied in 2011.

Another up-and-coming Chinese photovoltaics manufacturer hit record revenues, net income, and product shipment numbers during the second quarter, as JinkoSolar saw its sales jump 64% and its shipments rise more than 20% during the period. The vertically integrated company, which began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in mid-May, also increased production capacities across the enterprise.

JinkoSolar and Enfinity Asia Pacific will be working under an agreement that sees JinkoSolar delivering 24MW of solar PV modules this year to Enfinity. Module shipments are already underway and will continue through the rest of this year.

Hoku Materials and Jinko Solar have amended their polysilicon supply agreement. The companies said that, according to the terms of the amendment, both have agreed to reduce the term of the sales agreement by one year and to delay the first shipment date from Hoku's Pocatello, ID, plant from December 2009 to December 2010.

Hoku Materials, Inc. has entered into a 10-year polysilicon supply agreement with Shanghai Alex New Energy Company, Ltd., a crystalline silicon solar cells, modules and PV products manufacturer, with deliveries beginning in early 2010. The polysilicon has been offered at set prices that will decline throughout the agreement’s 10-year lifespan.
