SMA Solar CFO is under preliminary investigation in a private matter

The chief financial officer at SMA Solar Technology, Pierre-Pascal Urbon is currently under investigation in a private matter.

Urbon denies the accusations that have been made against him, although it is not clear what the nature of these accusations are. In the interest of avoiding any adverse ramifications for SMA, Urbon has requested a leave of absence until the proceedings have been brought to a close. At that time, the supervisory board at SMA will decide on a further course of action.

SMA is currently unable to comment on the subject of the proceedings. In order to provide evidence that the allegations made against him are false, Pierre-Pascal Urbon will actively participate and cooperate in the investigation.
