SPI: Schott appoints new VP of sales and marketing

Tom Hecht has been chosen as Schott Solar’s new executive vice president of sales and marketing. The company looks forward to Hecht advancing Schott’s PV and concentrating solar power business in the region.

“Tom brings a breadth of top-notch experience to Schott Solar,” said Mark Finocchario, president and CEO of Schott Solar. “He will work to ensure that Schott Solar continues its longstanding commitment to providing the highest quality products and customer service, and will be integral to growing Schott Solar’s customer base.”

Previous to his appointment with Schott, Hecht worked as director of business development and marketing at Miasole. He has a background in management positions with corporate development and marketing in the telecommunication industry and was a founding member of SolarTech.
