Reactivate

Community solar developer Reactivate has partnered with US retailer Walmart and US Bancorp Impact Finance, a subsidiary of financing entity US Bank, to develop solar projects in Illinois and New York, US.

After the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act, growth of community solar is expected to accelerate due to federal and state-level laws.

Following the formation earlier this year of community solar developer and operator Reactivate, PV Tech Premium talks with the business’s head of EPC, Utopia Hill, about its strategy of partnering with smaller contractors and the challenges it could face as it bids to reach 3GW of installed capacity.
