Perovskite-based PV manufacturer Saule Technologies is partnering with Google Cloud and renewables company Columbus Energy to advance its technology.

Perovskite-based PV manufacturer, Saule Technologies expects to have its first prototype production line ready in the fourth quarter of 2019, which will produce flexible, lightweight, semi-transparent, single junction solar substrates with 10% conversion efficiencies.

Multinational construction firm Skanska AB is to test semi-transparent perovskite solar modules from start-up Saule Technologies on commercial office buildings with the first applications planned to be installed in Poland in 2018.
