Since joining DNV GL (formerly KEMA) 10 years ago he has set up, coordinated and worked on several national and international feasibility studies, independent engineering projects, technology reviews and standardisation efforts on diverse interdisciplinary energy transition topics. In recent years, Martijn has been focused on grid-scale energy storage, for which he is internationally recognised as coordinator of the GRIDSTOR project, as well as independent engineering, technology review and R&D work.
